Rosberg carries on the family tradition - 16/04/2012

Congratulations to Nico Rosberg on winning yesterday's Chinese Grand Prix. This was his maiden Formula One victory and also the first win for Mercedes since Fangio lifted the trophy in the 1955 Italian Grand Prix.

Nico is carrying on the family tradition of F1 success. His father, Keke, was reigning world champion when he raced at Silverstone in the 1983 British Grand Prix.

I took this photograph of a very laid-back Keke on the grid before he drove his Saudia Williams FW08C into 11th place.

The race was won by Alain Prost in a Renault RE40, followed by Nelson Piquet in a Brabham BT52B and Patrick Tambay in a Ferrari 126C3.
