Face to face with Johnny Dumfries - 18/06/2012
It's always good to get feedback from customers, if only to keep us on our toes and help us to ensure that we are providing an excellent service.
So I was delighted to hear from Michael Hipperson after he purchased an A4 black and white print from the Mike Hayward Collection.
The image he selected was of Johnny Dumfries driving a JPS Lotus 98T at the 1986 British Grand Prix, held at Brands Hatch.
Michael met up with Johnny a few days after we dispatched his order, and he sent me this shot of the great man - whom he described as a totally delightful chap - autographing the print for him.
Hopefully the photograph brought back lots of memories for Johnny, who finished the race in seventh position after his team mate, Ayrton Senna, retired with gearbox problems.
