1965 Gold Cup
The 1965 Gold Cup at Oulton Park was run for Formula Two cars. It was won by John Surtees in an MRP Lola Cosworth, less than a second ahead of Denny Hulme driving a Brabham Cosworth and Graham Hill in a Lotus BRM. Jim Clark finished sixth after spinning his Lotus Cosworth, and went on to win the British F2 Championship
