Gawaine Baillie was runner-up in a Ford Falcon Sprint, followed by Lotus Cortina team mates Peter Arundell and Jacky Ickx. The race was a round of the British Touring Car Championship which was won later that year by John Fitzpatrick in a Broadspeed Ford Anglia
