The Philips Car Radio Sports Car race held at Thruxton on Easter Monday 1977 was a qualifying round of the Lawrencetune Thoroughbred Sports Car Championship. It was a supporting race at the Formula 2 International meeting, and the aim was to recreate sports car racing of the 1950s
